I recently just won a bid on this game. Peoples views are mixed on this game, from what I've gathered. I enjoy this game bunches. Kind of a Saved by the Bell, version of Night Trap, another popular FMV (full motion video) game. The gameplay is quite simple, keep the tenants of the building safe, and trap the thugs. It's a timing game. The replay value is so-so, unless you are a die-hard like myself. I could play this over and over. People often say the graphics are crap, which they are, but games were a mere fraction of the resolution of TVs made today. At the time, seeing video on a game was AWESOME! There are many more pseudo stars in this game besides Corey Haim. Like Debbie Harry, from the group Blondie, the Sgt. from Full Metal Jacket, as the handyman, and they lazy boyfriend from Bio Dome, who hurt his bladder rollerblading! This game is not one of the best, or even close, but totally worth playing and owning. Digital Pictures didn't let me down, in the early 90's, and still has my respect, helping to evolve my gaming persona into what it is today. If you like this game, or want games similar...check out Dracula Unleashed. It's awesome in the same aspect, and of course, the earlier mentioned Night Trap.Read full review
Double Switch is one of Digital Pictures' many full-motion video games from the mid 90s. In this "cinematic mystery" you must watch your serveilance cameras in order to trap intruders in the Edward Arms mansion. Double Switch stars Corey Haim and Deborah Harry, and features a musical score by Thomas Dolby. The game itself takes a while to get used to, as you must quickly spring from room to room and set up the correct traps to catch unsuspecting guests in chronological order. This means that at times, you must quickly spring a trap in one room then jump to another and do the same in the exact same order. The more people you catch, the harder it is to remember which rooms come first and so forth, but once you get the hang of it, it's a fun game to play that never gets boring. Unless of course you can't remember which order to set and spring the traps.Read full review
Not to much to say for this game it's more of a way for cory to get back it show bussiness. Hey I'd do it to for the money. its more of a video than a game it one to fill my collection and collect dust.
Grainy uninspired game play comes to mind when playing this game. Underlying though is the thrill of setting traps and finally completing this game that requires absolute perfection to beat.
this a game that i enjoyed playing when i was younger. it was fun trying to know the next person was that woul have to trap,
